Presentation
Erik Raygoza from Art Connection Art Supplies. Hosting 1st Saturday event in the San Antonio Plaza. Classes, both beginning and advanced are available in the store including mixed media, watercolor, acrylic, drawing, and face masks. Some are posted on Facebook, others in the store.

Website
Vonn New reported that the website https://artistsoflakechapala.org is continuously being updated. Any members who wish to have a profile page, please email artistsoflakechapala@gmail.com, and Vonn will contact you with further instructions. This is a complimentary benefit of ALC membership. You will get two URL’s one in English and one in Spanish, that you can use to promote your art. Each profile includes links to your bio and portfolio. You can post up to 10 pieces. Currently, there are 13 profiles on the website.
Migration Project
Vonn New reported that this is an ad hoc committee envisioning a multidisciplinary art event centered on the theme of Migration, including different arts across media and cultures. It is currently on hold, however, will resume after the holidays. The Migration Project is intended to be an artistic way to explore various types of Migration. While it can be a charged topic, the focus is to create a healthier way to engage more deeply into the topic. Anyone interested in getting involved, please email artistsoflakechapala@gmail.com, and the address will be sent to you.
Volunteering
Artists of Lake Chapala (ALC) is proud to be a 100% volunteer-run organization. Thanks to the dedication and generosity of our volunteers, November’s events were a tremendous success and well attended by our community.
As the holiday season reminds us of the importance of connection, ALC emphasizes that volunteering is not only a way to support the arts but also a joyful opportunity to make friends and share in the spirit of community.
Art Market
Elena Valdivia reported that our November art market was a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together. Our volunteers gave the gift of time and energy, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere for all. A very special acknowledgment goes to BJ Hardin, who stepped forward as the Art Market Volunteer Coordinator, guiding efforts with enthusiasm and care. Also, a shout out to our official photographer Stephanie Byers, who captured the day's joy, ensuring memories of the event will be long lasting. Remember the ALC Board of Directors, themselves volunteers, worked tirelessly to coordinate and deliver a seamless experience. The next Art Market will be held on December 20th. Spaces are all full. A request was made to NOT park on the inside road adjacent to the facility. Also, to be considerate and leave parking for visitors.
We welcome your help! We need people to help with load-in, translation, greeters, vendor relief, vendor support, and clean up (After 2 pm). Also, help is needed to distribute flyers, and much more. Membership
Barbara Logan reported that, as of this date, there are 148 ALC members. The art market has been a good source of new members. Membership is 300 pesos/year. There were no expenses for Membership in November.
9 Renewal letters were sent out to those with November expiration dates. 6 members renewed in November.

Fiscal Year is July 1 - June 30. We are on a Cash Basis.

Shelley Edson is our new Social Media Coordinator. Shelley requested that people send her info to be posted along with 3-4 related images. Also, remember to share the link to our Facebook page with friends, especially for upcoming events.

Vonn New informó que este es un comité ad hoc que visualiza un evento artístico multidisciplinario centrado en el tema de la Migración, incluyendo diferentes artes a través de medios y culturas. Voluntariado
Artistas del Lago de Chapala (ALC) se enorgullece de ser una organización dirigida 100% por voluntarios. Gracias a la dedicación y generosidad de nuestros voluntarios, los eventos de noviembre fueron un gran éxito y contaron con una excelente asistencia de nuestra comunidad.
A medida que la temporada navideña nos recuerda la importancia de la conexión, ALC enfatiza que el voluntariado no solo es una manera de apoyar las artes, sino también una alegre oportunidad de hacer amigos y compartir el espíritu comunitario.
Mercado de Arte
Elena Valdivia informó que nuestro mercado de arte de noviembre fue un brillante ejemplo de lo que se puede lograr cuando una comunidad se une. Nuestros voluntarios ofrecieron el regalo de su tiempo y energía, creando un ambiente festivo y acogedor para todos. Un reconocimiento muy especial va para BJ Hardin, quien asumió el papel de Coordinador de Voluntarios del Mercado de Arte, guiando los esfuerzos con entusiasmo y cuidado. También un agradecimiento a nuestra fotógrafa oficial, Stephanie Byers, quien capturó la alegría del día, asegurando que los recuerdos del evento perduren. Recordemos que la Mesa Directiva de ALC, también voluntarios, trabajó incansablemente para coordinar y ofrecer una experiencia impecable. El próximo Mercado de Arte se llevará a cabo el 20 de diciembre. Los espacios ya están completos. Se solicitó NO estacionarse en la calle interior adyacente a la instalación. Asimismo, se pidió ser considerados y dejar el estacionamiento para los visitantes.

Barbara Logan informó que, a la fecha, hay 148 miembros de ALC. El mercado de arte ha sido una buena fuente de nuevos miembros. La membresía cuesta 300 pesos/año. No hubo gastos de Membresía en noviembre.
